00 / Summary

From March 2023 to May 2025 I delivered client projects at Flaretech (formerly Marvel), in five industries. Clients are not named here.

The projects differed in a way worth stating plainly: on the small ones I led delivery end to end, from client negotiation to operation; on the largest I was one engineer among roughly forty, working inside someone else’s architecture. Both are part of client delivery.

01 / Projects

Insurance — sales and application management

January to April 2025, approximately 40 people, Full-Stack Engineer.

A sales-support and application-management system for an insurance company: JavaScript on the frontend, Java and Spring Framework on the backend. I built and extended screens for proposal documents, for managing the sales representatives licensed to sell policies, and for searching applications; handled customization against the client’s business rules; tested; and supported the coordination of outsourced development. The domain carries its own vocabulary, and a good share of the work was understanding it precisely enough to implement it.

Recruitment agency — corporate site

December 2024 to January 2025, approximately 5 people, Project Lead.

A new corporate site, led end to end: client negotiation, requirements, specification, Next.js and React implementation, AWS setup, launch, and operation, including SEO. Requirements interviews and design documentation were in Japanese.

Information and communications (情報通信業) — multilingual corporate site

August to December 2024, approximately 5 people, Project Lead.

The same end-to-end scope for a site published in Japanese, English, Chinese, and Russian. Multilingual delivery is not translation at the end; it decides content structure, layout tolerance, and SEO from the first specification.

Electricity and gas — CRM

October 2023 to August 2024, approximately 5 people, Full-Stack Engineer.

A CRM for a company that connects electricity consumers with suppliers: React on the frontend, PHP and Laravel on the backend. A record there is not just a customer — it carries the supply-point identification number, the voltage class of the connection, and the tariff structure, down to rates that differ between summer and the rest of the year. I built call-management and content features for the sales team, and supported the investigation, testing, and implementation of a call system.

Information and communications (情報通信業) — freelance matching SaaS

April 2023 to February 2024, approximately 5 people, Frontend Engineer.

A SaaS for freelance job matching and career support. Implementation from Figma mockups in Next.js, React, and TypeScript, new features, UI improvement, and refactoring of the existing codebase for maintainability.

02 / Delivery

Across the smaller projects my responsibility ran from requirements and client coordination through implementation, deployment, and production support. On the insurance project it was implementation, customization, and testing within an existing team structure.

Working language with clients was Japanese throughout, including requirements interviews, specification discussion, and written design documentation.
